What was the highlight of Medplaya Hotel Bali
Nice relaxing break in a good hotel.
Had a double room with a sea view and balcony. Twin beds, tv and shower. Breakfast was included and was very good. Either cold meats, cereals or scrambled eggs, bacon etc. Hotel is up a steep hill but isn’t far from the Marina. Probs about a 20 minute walk or take a taxi for 5 euros! Also has 2 swimming pools.
Would have been nice to have coffee/tea making facilities in our room but for a 3 star hotel is was really nice.

Very enjoyable good family hotel
Lovely hotel clean breakfast lovely could not fault a thing very clean staff lovely but on the side of comfort beds in room very comfortable but sun loungers a disaster they were just flat no adjusting up or down had to sit on a chair most of the time

What was the highlight of Medplaya Hotel Bali
A lovely holiday in a lovely hotel.
The food choices offered something for everyone. Lots of fresh fruit available and different fish dishes in the evenings. Kids loved pancakes or churros for breakfast and adults alternated between Spanish omelette and bacon with cream cheese bagels. The hotel was clean and staff friendly. Entertainment was good and different acts every night. The sustainable ethos was clear qnd very much appreciated. Great to see a hotel conscious of impact on the planet. The rooms were cleaned and made up everyday to a high standard and prices for food and drink very reasonable. Central location. It is on a slight hill but taxis can be booked and arrive in 5 mins if anyone has mobility needs. Otherwise a great way to burn off the ice cream calories.
Mini disco could do with some mini challenges e.g. Cup towers or balance the paper plate on your head just to make it a little more appealing for the 6-10 age range. Swimming pool opens at 11am and closes at 7pm. Opening at 10.30am would have been perfect as there was a long gap between breakfast and swimming for young family. Entertainment in the day could be a little more obvious and engaging. The board that advertises this is on a 15 min sideshow so I struggled to get to see what was on most days. One print off in reception area would be a better point of reference. One toilet with an ecoc light switch that continually turns off when trying to use it is just not enough and does not meet needs of parents with small children.
